What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Teaching high school math at Arlington Heights High School.
Where did you grow up?
All over! My Dad was in the Air Force so I have lived in four states and three different countries.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
A flight attendant or an actress.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Exercise — go for a walk or a run.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Tony Robbins — I have been to many of his seminars and would love a chance to thank him and sit down with him for a few minutes.
What do you love most about the industry?
The relationships I build with my clients.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
By trying to do the unexpected and make myself invaluable to my clients.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
The inventory does not always allow me to meet buyers’ expectations.

Contact your previous clients.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I’m reading some of Faye Kellerman’s novels to catch up on her Rona Lazarus/Peter Decker series.
What’s your favorite meal in Dallas-Fort Worth?
Ohh, so many to choose from! When I’m in the mood for gumbo I go to J&J’s Oyster Bar on University.

The Kimbell Art Museum
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
Was showing homes to clients one Saturday. Went to unlock the door and a brick fell down and landed right in front of me!
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
That I was born in England.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Maui — the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean, clean beaches, great weather and wonderful fresh seafood.
