What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I had many interesting jobs before choosing to become a full time Realtor, but I would say the most interesting would be when I was a landman (landwoman).
Where did you grow up?
I am a Midwestern girl and was born and raised in a small town in Indiana with a population of about 400 people.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
I wanted to be a secretary. I loved anything office related, from working on the computer, to filing, to answering phones.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I love to get massages, go to the spa or watch a good movie at the theater.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Leonardo Da Vinci. He is one of my favorite artists and I always thought it would be pretty neat to be able to catch a glimpse of the world through his eyes.
What is Dallas’ best-kept secret?
I always considered Jimmy’s to be a Hidden Gem here in Dallas. I love that you can grocery shop authentic Italian items and also sit down and enjoy good food.
What do you love most about the industry?
I love that I am never bored and that I am constantly doing different things.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I always go above and beyond, no matter the client, and no matter the price point. All clients get my full service and my full attention, at all times. I answer my phone and I respond to texts and emails in a quick and efficient manner. I also love to use social media as a way to help guide home buyers and home sellers with need-to-know, helpful information.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Being able to accommodate and handle the various client personalities I come across.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Don’t stop. Generating new leads takes time and consistency.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
Binge-watching “Landman” and reading “Awaken The Giant.”
What’s your favorite meal in Dallas?
I could eat Mexican everyday!
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Dallas?
The Old Red Courthouse has always been a favorite of mine.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I have walked into a home full of squatters.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I have been a full time Realtor for 10 years.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
I travel all over with my husband and I would say my most favorite trip yet was Costa Rica! You had the ocean, jungle, jungle animals and the BEST margaritas!
What is your favorite city after Dallas?
Indianapolis

Save your money. Be financially savvy. Do not stop.
