What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I’ve sold real estate so long it’s hard to remember, but probably bartending at JT McCords (which dates me).

Stand-up comedian
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Dirt therapy … plant flowers. And I love to do stand-up comedy.

Lucille Ball or Robin Williams, just to hear them talk and pick their brains.
What is Dallas-Fort Worth’s best-kept secret?
My husband was the assistant chief city surveyor for 36 years — he says Kessler Park! It is GORGEOUS.
What do you love most about the industry?
I love seeing the face(s) of clients the day they close on their home. Helping bring people home makes my heart happy.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
My veteran experience, my knowledge, my OCD personality for perfection and my ability to make real estate fun.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Trying to make all the pieces of the puzzle fit in a transaction, and reducing the stress on my clients.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Talk to everyone. Always treat everyone as if they have a million dollars.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
Watching “The Bondsman,” and “Person of Interest” and reading “Reminders of Him” (Colleen Hoover).

Stone crabs at Truluck’s!
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Dallas-Fort Worth?
Fountain Place. I love anything modern or contemporary.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I got pushed in the pool at an open house by a Great Dane.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I am afraid to drive on bridges.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Isla Mujeres. Absolutely stunning scenery, beautiful beaches and relaxation.

Saint George, Utah
