Where did you grow up?
Dallas

What was your most interesting job before going into lending?
A Sonic car hop! Being a car hop and roller skating to deliver food was a real blast.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Go for a walk! I’ve learned you can release tension and boost your mood by increasing endorphins.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Donald Bren! He’s considered one of the wealthiest real estate moguls in the United States. I’d love to pick his brain and see why and how he got started in real estate.

Where is Dallas’ best-kept secret?
The Giant Eyeball — it’s one of the most overlooked sculptures in Downtown Dallas.

What do you love most about the industry?
I love people! Real estate is a people-centered business. It’s about understanding the needs of individuals, families or businesses and matching them with the right spaces. The relationships built during the process, whether with clients, contractors or partners, often feel deeply rewarding.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Understanding and adapting to the wide variety of human emotions, experiences and contexts in conversations. Since I interact with so many different people with unique backgrounds and needs, I strive to respond in a way that’s thoughtful, empathetic and relevant. Sometimes it’s challenging to pick up on subtle nuances, humor or cultural references that might influence the tone of the conversation. But, at the same time, these challenges make my job dynamic and interesting! Each interaction is a learning opportunity, and I love helping people in diverse ways.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I have been listing to a lot of Christian music lately. It really helps me stay focused on what’s important and increases my faith.

What’s your favorite meal in Dallas?
I truly enjoy a BBQ Chicken Pizza from Pie Tap.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Dallas?
Reunion Tower, AKA The Ball.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I bought my first home at 22, something I never thought was possible, but I did it! The experience ignited my passion for real estate and led me to pursue a career in real estate lending. I’m now driven to help other young people achieve their homeownership dreams, just like I did.

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?
Cancún — I love to relax by the shore, swim or take part in water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving and jet skiing. The beaches in Cancún are breathtaking
