Landsea Homes appoints new DFW division president

by Emily Marek

Stewart Parker was named president of Landsea Homes’ Dallas-Fort Worth division, the company announced.

“Stewart’s more than three decades of successful senior executive homebuilding leadership experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and beyond will be invaluable as we continue to grow this important division of our company,” Mike Forsum, president and COO of Landsea Homes, said in a press release. “In addition to building more than 50,000 homes over the course of his career, his expertise will help guide our Dallas-Fort Worth team as they create high quality and attainably priced homes for our homebuyers.”

Parker was formerly the national vice president of homebuilding operations for residential and commercial construction company Homebound, but began his career as a warranty manager for a public homebuilder before holding various senior management positions with national homebuilders.

“I’ve been fortunate to build a large number of homes in the state and am looking forward to guiding our outstanding team as we strive to become one of the top public homebuilders in Texas,” Parker said.
