Nykea Pippion McGriff is the regional vice president covering Dallas-Fort Worth for Coldwell Banker Realty. Most recently a successful vice president of strategic growth in the greater Chicagoland area, McGriff is a proven leader, having earned the coveted President’s Council manager status multiple years. Branch leaders and agents appreciate her deep experience in closing deals (she’s been called the “Deal Doctor”) and the way she inspires those around her. She guides agents through one of the most exciting real estate markets in decades while balancing a sense of compassion and professionalism.

As her personal career grows, McGriff continues to be a fierce advocate of the real estate industry and women. She’s served as president of the Women’s Council Chicago and Women’s Council Illinois networks. Other accomplishments include being inducted into the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR’s) Hall of Fame class of 2022 and receiving the RISMedia Newsmaker Influencer award the same year.

Due to her dedication and hard work, the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) named McGriff its 2022 Realtor of the Year. She has continued to connect with her community, running for Illinois’ 1st Congressional District seat in 2022. In 2021, she served as the first African American female president of CAR.

McGriff is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. In honor of her late son, she founded the Xavier O. Joy Scholarship, sponsored by the CAR Foundation, which provides financial assistance to students who are attending Morehouse College. Her ability to inspire and uplift those around her is effortless, is genuine and underscores her impressive track record.
