The Bruno stands for auction

by Emily Mack

The Bruno, named for its architect Robert Bruno, was formed in the ’70s from 110 tons of hand-welded, rust-colored steel. Over three decades, it’s become a landmark of Lubbock, Texas, standing with character against the West Texas sky. Now, it’s up for auction. The opening bid for the geometric home is currently $250,000.

The official auction will take place Nov. 12, in person and on Special Finds.
