Throughout his 18 years in lending, Christopher Navarre has seen it all, and he welcomes the more complicated situations. A senior home lending advisor with Chase in Plano, Navarre specializes in complex files, self-employment analysis, vacation home financing, first-time homebuyer programs, conforming loans and jumbo mortgages.
Navarre was exposed to the industry at a young age (his mom has been a Realtor for over 30 years). But it was lending that captured his interest and best suited his skill set. “Solving math problems was always fun for me,” he says. “My first job after college was in the mortgage industry.”
Navarre closed $60 million in loans for more than 90 families this year. His attention to detail, strong communication skills and lack of surprises has earned him 10-time National Achiever and five-time President’s Club status at Chase.
“I basically underwrite the file up front so that we are ready for all questions before our actual underwriters even ask them,” he says. Always closing on time while staying in constant communication with clients has enabled him to build a business with a high percentage of repeat clients, and also gain referrals through them.
Whether assisting first-time or repeat buyers, or those who are in the market for a second home, Navarre helps them find a mortgage to suit their needs. He starts with a review of their finances to offer a clear picture of their budget. He explains their options, answers questions and keeps them informed, guiding them through every step of the process.
Dedicated to his family, Navarre recently celebrated his 10-year wedding anniversary with his wife, Alicia, in Italy and Greece. When not closing deals, the father of three enjoys coaching his children’s baseball, soccer, volleyball and football teams.
