Overland Property Group and Across, LLC, celebrated the grand opening of Clifton Riverside at 2406 E. Belknap Street in Fort Worth on March 27.
The developers refer to this 94-unit, riverfront building as “affordable luxury housing” — while the project was funded in part by the City of Fort Worth and a majority of the units are reserved families making 30% to 60% of the area median income, the property features “million-dollar views” of Fort Worth’s skyline, as well as a full slate of amenities.
“Clifton Riverside is more than just a beautiful building; it’s a testament to what’s possible when public and private sectors unite to address critical housing needs,” April Engstrom, director of Texas development for Overland Property Group, said in a press release. “Nationally, 70% of extremely low-income households are spending over half of their income on rent … This disparity highlights the urgent need for developments like Clifton Riverside, which offer luxury-level living to hardworking, low- to moderate-income families.”
Clifton Riverside offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units with rents ranging from $485 to $1,800 per month. Seventy-nine units are reserved for low- to moderate-income families, while 15 are offered at market-rate and eight are set aside for individuals exiting homelessness.
