Greater Fort Worth, Lewisville Realtor associations merge

by Emily Marek

The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® merged with the Greater Lewisville Association of REALTORS®, combining the two associations into one group.

The plan, first introduced in August, was approved via a formal member vote on Oct. 8, effectively turning all GLAR members into GFWAR members. A GLAR council will continue to represent local Realtors in the Lewisville area.

“This partnership isn’t just a merger,” GFWAR President Paul Epperley said in a press release. “It’s a powerful collaboration that positions us to serve our members and communities better. Together, we’re amplifying our voice, growing our reach and ensuring every Realtor has the tools and support they need to succeed.”

As a result, former GLAR members will receive access to GFWAR tools including CubiCasa, RealSatisfied and the GFWAR Academy.

“This is a win for each of our 1,200 members,” added Eyad Salloum, 2025 president of GLAR. “Our legacy in Lewisville remains strong, and now we’re part of something even bigger — with more influence, more resources and more ways to lead.”
