Fort Worth homebuyers are falling in love with ZIP codes that offer pockets of affordability, according to a ranking from the Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS®.
The association ranked the 10 Fort Worth-area ZIP codes with the greatest annual increase in transactions to determine which neighborhoods grew most in popularity among homebuyers in 2025.
Transactions increased 55% in the 76102 ZIP code (central Fort Worth), which had an average sales price of $376,837; with just 31 total sales, though, the area is a bit of an outlier.
Homebuyers loved Benbrook, despite the price point: The next two ZIP codes on the list were 76132 (eastern Benbrook) and 76126 (Benbrook), where sales increased 25.9% to 170 and 14.2% to 580, respectively. Both ZIPs had average sales prices well above the greater Fort Worth-area median average of $384,243 — $632,858 and $581,918, respectively.
Two ZIP codes in northern Fort Worth followed: 76137, where sales increased 10.2% with an average sales price of $337,738 across 550 sales, and 76177, where sales increased 7.1% with an average sales price of $409,607 across 227 sales.
The rest of the ZIPs on GFWAR’s ranking had average sales prices below the area median average: three in eastern Fort Worth (76103, 76111 and 76112), the Everman area (76140) and two in southwest Fort Worth (76133 and 76123).
“Real estate has always been and will always be local, so much so it can change from one street to the next,” said GWFAR President Shawn Buck. “People love Fort Worth, and there is something here for everyone. We have modern city living mixed with Texas charm, so folks can find a condo or country life. We have the best of both worlds.”
