Over his past 11-plus years in the lending industry, Marshell Neal has built his career anchored in availability, listening and empathizing, but most of all, executing. A natural communicator and lifelong banker, Neal discovered his passion for home lending after attending a job fair that introduced him to the mortgage industry. Having worked in financial institutions after graduating high school, he recognized that banking was more than a profession — it was his calling.
Neal specializes in an array of mortgage products — including conventional and unconventional loan options, along with government loans — offering a full suite of services that includes preapprovals, connections with real estate agents and relationship pricing, all under one roof. Clients describe him as knowledgeable and professional, with an approachable demeanor. Known for picking up the phone no matter the hour, Neal believes accessibility is his most powerful asset to ensure that every client’s mortgage journey is smooth, transparent and stress-free.
Within his first year at Chase, Neal quickly became one of the team’s top performers. A trusted partner to his branch colleagues, he’s earned a reputation for reliability and creative problem-solving, including a standout case where his lending expertise helped clients successfully dispute an appraisal, which saved the clients over $300,000. This resulted in the clients’ bringing over $1.2 million in net new money to the firm.
Neal devotes much of his free time as a proud soccer and basketball dad to cheering on his children at tournaments. He also works with his mom and Full Gospel Holy Temple in Dallas on food and clothing drives. As he describes it, “My goal is to improve every scenario I encounter by listening, empathizing, suggesting a plan of action.”
