Compass has announced a new CFO: Kalani Reelitz, the former CFO and COO of Cushman & Wakefield Americas. Reelitz’s tenure will begin on Nov. 15, and he will be based out of Chicago.

In the role, Reelitz will oversee all of Compass’ financial operations. He will also function as a key member of the executive management team where he plans to focus on generating cash flow. “I could not be more excited to join the team at Compass at this critical time in the company’s journey to profitability,” Reelitz said in a press release.

Compass CEO Robert Reffkin expressed a similar sentiment, highlighting Reelitz’s expertise. “The combination of Kalani’s operational excellence and financial discipline gained from many years of helping large public companies grow profitably will be an incredible asset as we accelerate our path to profitability,” Reffkin said.

Prior to joining Compass, Reelitz served in various leadership roles at Cushman & Wakefield Americas, a commercial real estate services firm. Before that, he spent 12 years in different corporate positions at Walgreens. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting, both from Loyola University Chicago.
