Jennifer Wauhob named NAR’s 2023 vice president of association affairs

by Emily Marek

Houston Realtor Jennifer Wauhob will serve as the vice president of association affairs for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) throughout the rest of 2023. Previously, Wauhob held the position of chairman for the Houston Association of REALTORS® in 2022.

Wauhob brings over a decade of experience to her new role with NAR. She is recognized as an Emerald Elite agent at the Houston brokerage Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene, where she leads a team of seven agents. She’s also earned the title of 5-Star Realtor by Texas Magazine for the past five years straight.

Current NAR President Kenny Parcell made the announcement of Wauhob’s appointment. “Jennifer’s commitment to this profession, her agents, and to U.S. real estate more broadly are evident to everyone who has had the privilege of getting to know her,” Parcell said. “We are confident that she will represent her fellow Realtors and the millions of U.S. consumers they serve every day in this role, as she has done herself as an agent in East Texas.”

The position of VP of association affairs was previously held by Seattle Realtor Margo Wheeler until her passing in January.
