DFW-based Wappler Capital enters Georgia in search of ‘operationally inefficient’ apartment communities

by John Yellig

Fort Worth-based real estate investor Wappler Capital has entered the Georgia market in search of “operationally inefficient” multifamily assets, according to the company.

The private real estate investment firm said the expansion represents its ongoing efforts to acquire and operate well-located apartment communities, particularly in growth markets like those in Georgia.

“Our goal is to build a disciplined, vertically integrated multifamily platform focused on acquiring properties with strong underlying fundamentals and meaningful operational upside,” said Weston Wappler, founder and president of Wappler Capital. “Georgia represents an important expansion of our investment footprint as we continue to identify opportunities where we can apply our value-add strategy and operating capabilities.”

Wappler Capital said it is actively evaluating value-add and operationally inefficient apartment complexes across Georgia, focusing on markets with durable economic and demographic fundamentals.
