Closed home sales increased 6.5% year over year in Dallas-Fort Worth in June, according to the latest Housing Report from the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®.
Buyers purchased 9,529 during the month. That was up both annually and month over month.
Meanwhile, the median home price held steady at $399,999, unchanged from a year prior. Over a quarter of all homes sold fell in the $300,000 to $399,999 price range.
Active listings declined 4.2% year over year, with 35,134 properties on the market in June. Given the rate of sales, that amounted to a 4.5-month inventory — more than a month less than June 2025.
