Windsong Ranch developer Tellus Group acquired 96 acres for the final phase of residential development within the Prosper master-planned community.

The developer plans to add 290 homesites to the new section of the property, which is located along Teel Parkway and Parvin Road.

“Over the last decade, we’ve created a place where families have room to spend time outdoors, get to know their neighbors and put down roots,” Tellus Group CEO Craig Martin said in a press release. “More than 3,000 homes later, we can see how residents have made that vision their own. This acquisition allows us to finish the residential plan and welcome another generation of families to the community.”

The full Windsong Ranch community spans over 2,000 acres, with 600 acres of open space. Community amenities include a Crystal Lagoon and three clubhouses/amenity centers. Construction is nearly complete on the community’s fourth amenity center, The Court House, which will feature nine pickleball courts and a fenced-in picnic area.
