Reflecting on a decade of experience in lending, Sterling Gordon says, “I was drawn to the lending business by my desire to help people achieve the American dream of homeownership.” After earning his MBA, he went into mortgage lending for the opportunity to combine financial expertise with genuine client impact. Today, from his office at JPMorganChase’s Preston Center branch in the Park Cities community, he serves clients across the country with the same purpose that first inspired his career — to make complex financial decisions simple and attainable.
Gordon specializes in working with self-employed borrowers, guiding them through asset-based and complex lending structures. Known for his efficiency, energy and direct communication, he provides clarity at every step of the mortgage process. Whether assisting with jumbo, veteran or first-time-buyer programs, he delivers tailored solutions that reflect his deep understanding of financial matters and regulatory guidelines.
A nationally recognized top performer, Gordon has earned JPMorganChase’s National Achievers distinction and was selected to serve on the company’s Executive Advisory Board for Home Lending. He mentors new hires across the Dallas market and has also obtained multiple Financial Industry Regulatory Authority licenses, including that of Securities Industry Essentials, as well as his Series 6 and Series 63. Alongside his demonstrated dedication to continued professional growth, clients and colleagues alike value his play-to-win mindset, consistent availability and commitment to excellence.
When not working, Gordon prioritizes fitness and wellness, enjoys exploring Dallas’ diverse culinary scene and travels frequently to experience new cultures. His results-driven approach, paired with authentic enthusiasm, makes him a trusted resource for clients and an inspiring leader within Chase Home Lending.
