Thirty-five percent of all master-planned community (MPC) sales last year were in Texas, according to RCLCO Real Estate Consulting. Seven percent were in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Among those Metroplex sales, Silverado was No. 1.
The consulting firm ranked MPCs across the country based on total sales and found that Silverado, an Aubrey MPC from D.R. Horton, was the top-selling community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as the No. 17 community in the country, with 653 sales in 2024.
Other Dallas-area MPCs in the top 50 were Painted Tree (No. 30), an Oxland Group community in McKinney, with 523 sales; Wildcat Ranch (No. 37), a Sessions Development/PMB Capital community in Crandall, with 469 sales; Elevon (No. 38), an MA Partners community in Lavon, with 466 sales; and Harvest (tied for No. 44), a Hillwood Communities community in Argyle, with 417 sales.
