Renters can find affordable luxury rental units for less in certain Dallas-Fort Worth-area neighborhoods — more than $100 less than the typical upscale unit in the area, that is.

According to a recent report from RentCafe, the typical upscale unit in the Dallas area has a monthly price tag of $1,854. However, in the 75287 ZIP — in the north Dallas area — upscale units have an average monthly rent of $1,408. That’s a gap of $445 — the largest gap in the Metroplex and the seventh-largest of any ZIP in the country.

A decent gap is also seen in Denton: The 76210 ZIP code has a ZIP vs. city rent gap of $224 for high-end apartments.

There’s also a $223 gap in the 75287 (north Dallas) ZIP code.
