Builders began sales at Talia, a master-planned community from The Nehemiah Company in Mesquite.

Five builders are offering homes in the first phase of development: Cadence Homes, Chesmar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes and Highland Homes.

Floor plans will range from 1,436 square feet to over 3,183 square feet, with pricing starting in the $294,000s and extending to over $524,000.

Community amenities include a lake, yoga lawn, hammock grove, pool, pocket parks and nature trails. Plans include a future elementary school zoned to Forney Independent School District.
